Now, bringing that dualities thing back… here is the big colour entry for may…
Portra 400NC and the ol’ trusty m6.

Love it when things say what they are…

The best parking spots near my apt. I came early to get one, and failed.

Some construction thingy in Broadway

Cha cha…?

Blue/Grayish alleyways

Contrasts – Loud/Quiet

Red Pablits and red N
Then N and I drove North (like we use to do), and ended up in Canada…
I did not have a really fond of Vancouver, but this time, I really liked it.

Dock by Grainville Mkt

Balloon guy

Art Gallery
…and that was about it… I took a lot more, but traveling, I use much more the digi-slr

Some guy sleeping on his car… as I got near, the dog in the back went bezerk…

Dick’s… Do you like… well, stupid joke.

Some girl getting pulled over… no idea why

The hallway in our floor.

Some guy smoking by the window…

My old ride… I hated it, so I gave it back, and got a new one.
This is one of my favourite colour films… Portra 160VC – again using the m6.

Pizza restaurant in Fremont – caught it mid-air.

I think this is my fav N photograph ever… the colours, the window, her hair…
And now… switching to 50mm…. and doing the tourist thing… TULIP FEST!!!

Yay, this proves how people just don’t give a fuck.

Endless fields of tulips…

Think different… Tulip Computer… wait…

Ye olde tulip barn

Another child left behind

Posing

The best parking spot EVER… and I was already parked. Damn it. 1/1000 @ f5.6

Quite informative – 1/1000 @ f5.6

Photographing the photo section… how clever!!

My new thing is going to places, buying the city Moleskine, and scribble my adventures away. No blogs, no uploading errors… simpler times.
One Sunday, I simply woke up and told N… “let’s go to Tacoma”. I’d never been there for more than 15 mins, so she agreed, and off we went.
Portra 160VC
The first stop was the glass museum…

Glass fountain

People making glass live, in front of yer eyes

The museum has this activity with schools where they ask children to draw something strange they take the drawing,
and make that on glass. The first one is a coyote with rainbows over its paws.

Glassy toilets… it fits the museum

Colourful spheres…

Tacoma Glass Museum

Chihuly Glass Bridge

A post in the Chihuly Bridge

Union Station and the Jazz Saxophonist

Washington History Museum

Some random stairs

Union Station (behind)

Yet another Tacoma Museum

Glass Museum roof – on out way back

Awesome pizza place near the Space Needle

Trees

Feeding the birds…. noisy as hell
Reala 100

Bastardized BW – Sorry… it was meant to be BW

Another BW meant to be – Is that guy John Malkovich??

Mooore mirrors…

Urban Flickerites

The Westin… cool tones

The last bastardized BW – Kid with a spoon

A couple that somehow felt perfect together

Walking home from downtown
This other weekend we just drove North to visit Whidbey Island.

the Ferry that took us to Whidbey Island

Aboard the ferry

Dude was hogging the place… didn’t even let me take 1 shot at the water…

Trees

Look at the Reala greens – greens on steroids… oh, and the chess match

A funny flower

Found at the Whidbey Island Farmer’s Market

The Town Hall
Then I ran out of film, and loaded the LAST Portra 400NC i’ll ever use (unless I am shooting under Tungsten — which is not often):

Admiralty Bay…

Looking for a stone? I grabbed 4 and piled them up in my office…

This should be where they recorded the Blind Melon – No Rain video…

Fort Casey State Park

Fort Casey State Park Lighthouse…

Back at our same pizza place… awesome…

I’d rather date Lorena Bobbitt first…

Paula at the wheel of her Uber spacious Mini (for realz)… The title that comes to mind… “The Joys of Driving”

Paula chatting up our waitress at Musashi… the lady speaks several languages — not sure if they were speaking Italian or French
Last Saturday, there was a street fair in the U-district… very pintoresque, if you ask me. I had a good time with Thomas, and Arturo… Internz hittin’ da streetz type thing…

Arturo papping away…

Thomas Texting

Doughnut stand…
Then the rewind lever became stiff, indicating that there was no more film available.
Life’s rolling…
I don’t know when I’ll post more.a
Hope life catches you well.
